Serving Group and Domiciliary Homes have become the heart of our business. That’s because the needs of persons with intellectual disabilities of all ages is so great and in many cases under serviced. It is a demographic that our staff have a keen interest in serving and more importantly because that’s where our services really shine.
Persons with intellectual disabilities that rely on medications to cope with anxiety, depression and other mental health and neurological conditions are treated by our specialized pharmacists to develop therapies and behavioural management regimes to compliment or offset these medications.
Care Teams at Group and Domiciliary Homes are usually led by a small team of UCPs and PSWs. Many of whom have never been properly trained in medication administration. Together, we implement and train a fully accredited medication administration program for the entire home.
Our tools, education, in-services and ongoing clinical support can truly transform a Group and Domiciliary Homes into something special.
Most importantly, we help you, the care team, in so many ways to be able to provide the best possible care for your resident, our patient. |
